The Japanese Garden near Tortin
|
 |
Enjoy at walking distance, at the end of a side valley, on the top of and
glacial moraine, the magnificent Japanese Garden. It's unique and looks
like a planned garden, but it's 100% natural. More than recommended, additionally
have superb view to the alpine landscape. |

Rambles
|
 |
Many rambles are available, from the top of the Mont Fort till down the
Rhone valley, and catalogued in different levels of difficulty. The difficult
rambles are situated on the higher alps, but most of the rambles follow
the ancient irrigation channels, called "Bisses". Many of these
channels are still used for irrigation, and the rambles next to them are
easily accessible for families and occasional walkers. A detailed map can
be purchased from the Tourist Office of Nendaz. |
